China abolishes/reduces export for wood products

As of early July, the export tariff rebate rate will be abolished for the following products:

bamboo charcoal; plywood and block board including one layer endangered timber and bamboo; wooden doors, wooden windows, wooden flooring and small wooden products made of endangered timber;
and wooden furniture made of endangered timber.

It has also been announced that the export tariff rebate will be reduced for other wooden products:

Fiberboard, plywood, wooden door, wooden windows, small wooden products and paper products will have an export tariff rebate reduced to 5%. Wooden and bamboo furniture would have export tariff rebate rates reduced to 9%.
