Flooring disclaimer

Upon receiving your customized Greenvills wooden materials, it is crucial to inspect them for any defects before attempting installation on each piece of flooring. It is your responsibility to identify any problems and promptly contact us. Installed planks are considered acceptable by both the installer and the owner, even if you were not present during installation. Any additional costs incurred for replacing or repairing defective planks that have already been installed are not the responsibility of Greenvills.

Natural variations in wood grain and colour are to be expected, so complete uniformity between planks cannot be guaranteed. Minor defects, such as small scratches, will likely require correction with filler, putty sticks, or stains. These repair procedures are quick and easy to perform by your installer and will restore the floor's appearance.

A margin of on-site cutting waste of approximately 5-7% for regular installations and 12-13% for angle installations is recommended. This allowance helps avoid cutting waste and grading variance errors. Please note that this cutting allowance must be added to your floor's square meterage before making a purchase.

NOTE: When building it is advisable to install your hardwood floor last. This will help protect the floor from damage caused by foot traffic and construction.
