Radiant heating and wood flooring are not enemies, but for them to coexist harmoniously, a set of strict "survival rules" must be followed. Rule one: choose the right type. Ordinary solid wood, with its high moisture content, shrinks and deforms easily when heated, so it is not recommended over radiant heat. The "golden choice" for radiant heat is engineered wood (both three‑layer and multi‑layer), whose cross‑laminated structure effectively disperses stress from expansion and contraction.
